Position Summary:

Computer Support Specialist provide the initial point of contact for computer users who have problems or need help. A help desk can provide support to a company’s employees or to the customers of a hardware or software manufacturer. Help desk technicians help to maintain the productivity of computer users and improve employee or customer satisfaction.



• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance

• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

• Provide accurate information on IT products or services

• Record events, problems, and their resolution in ticket tracking systems

• Follow-up and update customer status and information

• Stay current with system information, changes and updates

• Other related IT tasks as needed


Skills and Qualifications

• Tech savvy with working knowledge of office products, active directory and remote access tools

• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

• Proficiency in English

• Excellent communication skills

• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered


• AS/AA in Computer Information Systems or related field

• 2-4 years of work experience in a help desk

• Travel Requirements: 10% – 20%
