Information Systems Administrator II
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Information Systems Administrator II (NA) is responsible for all aspects of administration pertaining to networks and network components, to include but not limited to: network servers, routers, switches, firewalls and gateways. NA will implement, configure, monitor, maintain, backup, and troubleshoot the entire IT architecture. Responsible for day-to-day operations of computer network. Can operate, install and support computer systems including Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), network segments, Intranets and other communications systems.

- Supports, maintains & evaluates computer network and telecommunications systems
- Manages Microsoft Systems and applications including Exchange, Windows Desktop and Server, SharePoint
- Plan, design and implement network connectivity for LAN and WAN systems
- Maintain, configure, and monitor system firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices
- Create and maintain system backups
- Remote connectivity software/hardware support
- Perform network security assessments and evaluations and consult on security policies and updates
- Support and maintain intrusion detection systems
- Review logs and troubleshoot computer/network problems
- Assist users with technical support of computers, applications, and related technology
- Deploy and maintain information systems
- Responsible for audio/visual equipment including projectors, video-conferencing equipment
- Perform as project manager for special projects and equipment acquisitions
- Emergency response tasks related to IT systems
- Provide computer software and security training to users in classroom format
- Planning and deployment of LDAP- and Kerberos-based centralized authentication system
- New production server’s installation, configuration and deployment, power consumption calculations
- Basic knowledge of Linux OS Systems
- Basic web Programming, scripting and administration including website SEO techniques and Content Management Systems
- Infrastructure basics including Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
- Strong understanding of RSA Encryption and security certificates
- Able to maintain Active Directory Rights Management Systems and Servers
- VPN and email/Exchange Administration
- Active Directory and Group Policies
- Network Device Configuration

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervision responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. Pre and Post Preferred Drug screening required.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The position is required to communicate verbally and in writing to engage employees and vendors. On occasion lift up to 30lbs. Must be able to meet annual corporate physical training and medical requirements to deploy.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5 pm or other approved schedules. Overtime and weekend work is expected.
Travel
Up to 20% travel is required. On occasion, may be required to deploy for up to 60 days.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree required
- Prefer Certificates in IT related field.
- 4-5 years of professional experience in IT

Must be a US citizen and speak English.
